About The Birdoo

Poultry farms and technology sounds absurd, right? But Geekmindz got a chance to introduce tech in the poultry farms. There was a need for farmers and farm owners to accurately track, measure, predict weight and make course correction to reduce supply variability.

 

To meet the need, we came up with an application named Birdoo that assists farmers and farm owners to measure weight accurately and on a real-time basis. Birdoo can assist farmers in knowing exactly if their chicken is growing as per expectation and preempt possible impacting factors ahead of time. With future enhancements like Health Monitoring, Bird Count, and Bird Mortality Alert, the application offers a digitised and comprehensive ‘Predictive Poultry Precision System’ for farmers to monitor their Broiler/Breeder farms.

GeekMindz's Magic

Birdoo is a kind of project where chickens are analysed based on their weight and age. This project is basically for those vendors who have requirements for good and healthy chickens on a daily basis so they can sell to their customers in the format of food like Burger King, KFC, McDonalds and so on. The analysis is done on the basis of sensors and devices which are located at poultry farms. The device analyses the weight using AI and Python. Files are stored in db and we access db with node and show the data on the web. This makes birdoo one of the best mobile applications for poultry farmers and farm owners.
